Dehydration Demonstration

Dehydrate Great Gifts and Healthy Snacks

for the Whole Family

Herb-Infused Salts: California Master Food Preserver Jennifer Bell will teach you how to infuse salts with herbs, spices, citrus, and other interesting ingredients to make sophisticated and inexpensive gifts and meals. Quick and easy—yet very versatile, herb-infused salts are a great addition for any food lover and cook and keep bright flavors handy during the dark and drab winter months.

Cherry Tomatoes: Whether they are sweet like sugar or slightly tart, kids will love chewing on beautiful dried cherry tomatoes all year long if you preserve them and store them correctly. Master Food Preserver Sandy Earl will show you some tips and tricks to make your cherry tomatoes the star of your child’s lunchroom at school this year!

Zucchini Chips: Nicki Viso will show you how to use delicious seasonings and dehydrate them to a crispy texture so your kids will literally eat these up!
