Thank you for your interest in becoming a certified UC Master Food Preserver. This survey serves as a submission of interest, this is NOT an application. We will contact you using the email you provided when the applications open in late fall 2026.
Application and Training Process:
Applications open in the late fall, followed by an interview. Once accepted into the training program classes will begin January 2027 through June 2027 where regular attendance and participation is mandatory to complete the training. Training includes more than 50 hours of instruction time over 12 weeks and consists of a combination of online lectures and in-person labs.
