The University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) is assisting the Nevada County Agriculture Department and other local agencies in establishing a program to provide access to commercial agricultural operations within evacuation zones to care for crops.
During times of restricted access caused by a natural disaster or other emergency, this registration may enable commercial agricultural producers to take care of crops.

UCCE is providing this 2026 Survey to RENEWING PASSHOLDERS to streamline registration for the Nevada County Agriculture Department.
All information in this survey will be provided to the appropriate County Agriculture Department for program administration, training registration, and pass approval.

This program is only available to operators of legitimate commercial agricultural operations, commercial equine boarding facilities, and legal cannabis cultivation sites as determined by the Nevada County Agricultural Commissioner. To qualify for the Agriculture Access Pass Program, a commercial agricultural operation must provide, via an application submitted to the Nevada County Agricultural Department for review, any of the following documentation that demonstrates the operation is a commercial agriculture operation: ✻

Operation Identification Number or Restricted Materials Permit Executed agricultural lease agreement Redacted IRS Schedule F or other business tax documentation Valid Producers Certificate Valid CDFA Organic Registration Valid Annual Cannabis Permit (ACP) issued by Nevada County Cannabis Compliance Division

Information shared on this form will be used to create a database maintained and updated by UC Cooperative Extension and the Nevada County Agriculture Department.
