Canning for Competition

 

In this lecture style workshop, May 20th 6:30 - 8:00pm we will discover the ins and outs of entering food products at the California State Fair. Guest presenter from CA State Fair Canning & Baking staff will be with us to help field questions and inspire us all to join the CA State Fair Fun!

We will cover the details of entering, especially reading and understanding the descriptions of different categories. We will discuss how to complete the application and make labels for the jars you submit.  

And... We'll talk about what type of ribbons you can win!

Registration $10

Includes, handouts, samples of winning preserved products and a few surprises.
