2026 Mothers Day Jam

 

Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend creating yummy jam and fruit spread.  Learn a new skill, spend time with your friends and family, get questions answered, take home your finished products (6-8 jars per registration). You will make strawberry jam plus one more jam or jelly that you choose.  

Registration includes: ingredients, jars, resource material and use of UC Master Food Preserver equipment.

This is an in-person, hands-on workshop. 

When: Saturday, May 9, 2026

2 sessions:

     10:00am-noon

     2:00pm-4:00pm

Fee: $40 for up to three people

Location:  UCCE Sacramento, 4145 Branch Center Road, Sacramento CA 95827 (map/directions)

If you have invited others to attend with you, please list their names.

Each group will make one small batch recipe of low-sugar strawberry jam.
