In this workshop, you will:
- Learn to assess aggregate stability using slake and slump tests comparing soils from different management practices with Kabir Zahangir, Regional Soil Health Specialist, NRCS
- Conduct aggregate stability tests with your soil (All)
- Learn to assess soil infiltration with Kabir Zahangir
- Get updated on regional benchmarks for soil health (Margaret Lloyd and Lindsey Kelley, UCCE)
- Hear from experienced growers Scott Park (Park Farming Organics) and Andrew Brait (Full Belly Farm) on how they assess soil health on their farm.
