Fabulous Fall Fruits

Welcome the change of seasons by attending an in-person class on Fabulous Fall Fruits.  Learn new ideas for preserving apples, pears, grapes, cranberries, and others. Does cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving sound delicious?  What about Apple Maple Butter for holiday gifts?  Still not convinced?  Maybe Pear Lavender Freezer Jam will get you inspired.  In addition, UCCE Master Food Preservers of Amador/Calaveras Counties will show you how to dehydrate and freeze fall fruits to enjoy all year. 

When: Saturday, Sept 21, from 9 am to Noon (Check-in begins at 8:45 am; class starts promptly at 9:00.)

Fee: $5 (payable at the door by cash/check payable to UC Regents)

Location: Amador County GSA Building, 12200-B Airport Road, Jackson
