Third Thursday Things from the Field - June 27, 2024 - UCCE Sutter-Yuba

Join us for our June North Sac Valley 'Third Thursday Things from the Field'! Hear updates on management strategies for upcoming challenges and share what you’ve been seeing in the field.

Bruce Lampinen and Clarissa Reyes will focus on some weather issues we’ve encountered this year that may impact walnut growth and quality, including late-autumn freeze damage, late spring rain, and hail damage.

After the presentation, we'll open the floor to discuss issues and concerns from the field for all tree crops. Bring your questions, observations, photos and more for an open forum with UCCE farm advisors, growers/orchard managers, consultants and other agricultural professionals.

This is an in-person event. No virtual option is available.
