Information for all Categories:
  1. The outfit must be produced and modeled by the individual member during judging and the fashion show (entry is not to be created for someone else)
  2. All outfits must meet the 4-H Dress Guidelines, found at http://4h.ucanr.edu/files/210170.pdf. For State Fashion Revue (SFR), all shorts, skirts, dresses, etc. must be at least fingertip length due to the raised stage for the fashion show. County Fashion Revue coordinators will review all outfits based on these guidelines before SFR entry, with further review by the SFR Committee if needed.
  3. A member may only qualify to enter one outfit at State Fashion Review.  At County Fashion Revue a member may enter one outfit per category.  However the garments, accessories, and shoes for each outfit must be distinctly different.  An item in one outfit may not also be used as part of another outfit. All outfits must be suitable for comfortably walking, sitting, and going up and down stairs. Note: There is not a state equivalent for tie dye and fabric paint categories and winners in these two categories will not advance to state.
  4. Please read all rules for each category you are registering for. Rules may be found on the State Fashion Review website: http://4h.ucanr.edu/4-H_Events/SFD/SFR/

Please check a box for each category that you will enter.

Please also prepare and bring with you to check-in at

County 4-H Fashion Review:

Your entry will be "complete" once you have submitted
  • Your 30-second commercial* on a separate document for each category entered

**Please be prepared to have an explanation of your outfit for the judges that highlights the details that you would like them to notice.  Make it fit in a 30-second time frame (think of it as your very own 30-second commercial). This activity is done to promote public speaking and it provides the contestant the opportunity to express the creative qualities of their outfit. A written commercial is to be uploaded to this registration.
