Marin 4-H Camper Application 2024

 

 

Marin 4-H - Camper Registration

 

Marin County 4-H Camp is a magical experience and has been a wonderful tradition for kids and families for generations.

This year, Marin Camp will be held in Camp will be held this year at Shady Creek Outdoor school and event center in Nevada City, CA.  It's an amazing site! The youth will meet new friends, enjoy fun activities while learning more about themselves, others, and the world around.

 

DATES: July 21 - July 27, 2024  

LOCATION: Shady Creek Outdoor school and event center in Nevada City, CA.

CAMPER ELIGIBILITY: Current 4-H members and non-4-H members, ages 9 to 14 years (as of August 4, 2024). 

FEES

  • $600 for early bird registration 
  • $675 for registration after May 13
  • $45 additional for Camp Sweatshirt (optional)

Fees include a camp t-shirt and a camp picture (sweatshirts are optional).

PAYMENT OPTIONS (checks preferred):

  • Check: payable to “Marin County 4-H Camp.” If paying by check, payment must be received at the Marin 4-H office within three weeks of registration or registration will be voided.
  • Credit Card with processing fee of $19.

FINANCIAL AID: Financial aid is available! Please contact the camp clerk (marin4hcamp@gmail.com) for more information on how to apply.

REFUNDS: No refunds after May 15, 2024.

CAMPER NEEDS: Camp is a sensory rich environment with a mix of structured and unstructured time.  If you have any concerns about your child’s needs in this type of setting, please contact us at Marin4HCamp@gmail.com. We want to ensure your child has a successful and positive experience at camp.

 

CAMPER REGISTRATION OVERVIEW

*Note thanks to the Miranda Lux Foundation, youth 4-H enrollment fees ($75) have been waived for 2023-2024.  There is no enrollment fee.  

Note: If you attended camp last year and have not enrolled in 4-H since, you are NOT  a current 4-H Member and must follow the registration process for NON-MEMBERS including re-enrolling in 4-H.  If you have any questions as to whether or not your 4-H membership is active, please contact Martha: mrtmartinez@ucanr.edu.

 

DETAILED REGISTRATION STEPS

 

  • Step 1 (ALL): Complete the online Camper Application (Below. Scroll down past these instructions).
      
  • Step 2 (ALL): Submit payment by May 15
    1. Credit Card online via registration ($19 processing fee)
    2. Check payable to "Marin County 4-H Camp"

  • Step 3 (SKIP if current 4-H member): Enroll or Re-enroll in Zsuite 
    • Enroll in 4-H:Zsuite
    • Select Unit: "Marin County 4-H Camp" on ZSuite
    • Complete enrollment within three weeks of submitting the Camper Application.  

 

When we receive your Camper Application, payment, and confirmation of 4-H enrollment for non-members, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that you are registered for Camp 2024. Your official Camper Welcome Packet with detailed information including drop-off and pick-up, driving directions, etc will be emailed after June, 2024.
