This class includes field trips that will involve easy to moderate walking and standing on unpaved, uneven ground.

PAYMENT

The Hopland Research and Extension Center is committed to building an inclusive community. We are trying something new called equity pricing that we hope will serve the community better and allow us to recover the costs of this class.

Registration is $470 per person (includes certification, instruction, some materials, and facility costs). If you are unable to pay this amount due to low income or extenuating circumstances, please use our income guide and sliding scale to adjust your course cost. Minimum payment is $300.

Hopland REC donor funds will support the costs of those who are unable to pay the total amount.

To assist you in determining an appropriate payment amount for your circumstances, 2023 Mendocino County U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development low income indicator data is provided as guidance.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED. A limited number of scholarships are available reducing the class cost to $150. These scholarships are reserved for underserved and low-income community members. If you would be interested in applying for a scholarship, please express your need for scholarship and your reason for taking the class in this box.
