Registration: South American Palm Weevil Workshop

The invasive South American Palm Weevil is a significant threat to palm trees in Southern California's wildland, urban and agricultural landscapes. Land managers, urban planners, landscape designers, tree care professionals, utility workers, growers and other stakeholders for public, tribal and private properties should be aware of the current South American Palm Weevil distribution, impacts, and management strategies to reduce or mitigate its spread. This workshop will provide updates on the South American Palm Weevil infestation distribution, the latest integrated pest management strategy recommendations, regulatory status, and ongoing monitoring and research projects.
