Marin 4-H Camp ROCKS! Camp will be held this year at Shady Creek Outdoor school and event center in Nevada City, CA. It's an amazing site!

Thank you for taking the time to register and apply for a Staff position. It's going to be a fantastic summer!

CAMP DATES: July 20 - July 27, 2024

LOCATION: Shady Creek Outdoor School and Event Center, Nevada City, CA

YOUTH STAFF REQUIREMENTS:

Entering grades 10-12 in Fall 2024.
Have at least one year camp experience.
Willing to assume responsibility for the operation of Marin 4-H Summer Camp.
Attend and participate in staff training and project meetings/activities.

FEES:

$450 for early bird registration
$45 additional for Camp Sweatshirt (optional)

Camp fees include a camp t-shirt and a camp picture (sweatshirt not included).

PAYMENT FOR STAFF TO BE SUBMITTED BY CHECK:

Youth Staff are requested/preferred to pay by check.

PAYMENT FOR STAFF TO BE SUBMITTED BY CREDIT CARD:

Payments by credit card will charge a $19 processing fee.

FINANCIAL AID: Financial aid is available! Please contact the camp clerk (marin4hcamp@gmail.com) for more information on how to apply.

REFUNDS: Last day to request a refund is May 15, 2024.

STAFF APPLICATION & REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

All application items must be complete in order to be considered for a staff position. Completion of the staff application only does not guarantee a staff position. Staff Applications are considered complete when the following items are confirmed per the deadlines:

March 27: Online staff application submitted.
- APRIL 15: Current 4-H member (if not a current member, must enroll/re-enroll: https://4h.zsuite.org/
- May 31: Payment received at the 4-H office if if paying by check. If paying by credit card, paid online via registration. v

OVERVIEW

Current 4-H Members: Complete 1) online Staff Application and 2) Submit payment via check for $450.

Note: Current 4-H members are those who enrolled in 4-H in the Fall/Winter of 2023. Membership will be confirmed by the 4-H office.

*Note thanks to the Miranda Lux Foundation all youth enrollment fees ($75) were waived for 2023-2024. There is no charge for enrollment.

Not a CURRENT 4-H Member: Must enroll in 4-H in addition to completing the Staff Application and submitting payment via check for your payment amount.

Note: If you attended camp last year or were part of a club in a prior year and have not enrolled in 4-H this Fall, you are NOT a current 4-H Member and must follow the registration process for NON-MEMBERS re-enroll in 4-H. DETAILED REGISTRATION STEPS

Step 1 (All): Complete the online Staff Application below by March 27, 2024 (Below. Scroll down past these instructions).

Step 2 (All): Submit payment by May 15, 2024. If paying by check (preferred) mail to the 4-H office below, if paying by CREDIT CARD online via the registration system.

Step 3 (Skip this if you are a current 4-H member): Enroll as 4-H Member

- Enrollment must be completed by APRIL 15, 2024.
