Prescribed Firelighter and Basic Wildland Firefighter Training

 

Date: This two-day training will take place on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3rd

Location: Santa Lucia Conservancy, Carmel Valley

Detailed directions and instructions will be sent closer to the event.

Time: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm both days

Registration Deadline: March 25

Cost: $20 (scholarships available by request)

GEAR: All participants will need to bring leather work gloves, eye protection (sunglasses are fine), water bottle and work/ hiking boots and comfortable work clothes (jeans and long sleeve shirt will do). If you have a hardhat, please bring those as well.  

Lunch: Due to Covid-19, we ask that you bring your own lunch, snacks and water.

Additional Covid-19 mitigation: The entire event will be held outdoors.
