Camp- Transportation

 

In considering the advantages and disadvantages of providing transportation to and from camp for campers and staff, it is important to know the 4-H policies on transportation and design and implement safety procedures and rules. Plans for transporting campers and staff should include supervision ratio that consider age, mental ability, and physical condition of all passengers. Parents are asked to provide a medical release form and expect there to be a system of communication when changes in the transportation plan happen, or in case of emergency.

After you have completed this assessment, you will be directed to a website where you can get additional resources to help you expand your skills, knowledge and abilities to provide all the people involved with the camp the skills and information to they need plan and implement a good transportation plan.
