THIRD THURSDAY THINGS from the FIELD:Labor Costs in CA Orchard Production and Economic Decisions

A monthly event to meet Sac Valley orchard farm advisors in a casual setting and get timely updates on things we've been seeing in the field.

This Month: Labor Costs in California Orchard Production and Economic Decisions

UCCE Agricultural Economics Advisor, Domena Agyeman will discuss the changing cost of agricultural labor and what rising labor costs mean for orchard operations. He will cover labor costs in orchard crops, including almonds, walnuts, prunes, and olives, and discuss how growers can evaluate labor-related management changes.

After the presentation, we'll open the floor to discuss issues and concerns from the field for all tree crops. Bring your questions for an open forum of growers, PCAs, industry members, and farm advisors.

This is an in-person event.
