2026 MFP: Dehydration

 

Dehydration: Make Your Own Meals and Snacks for Backpacking, Camping or Just a Day Trip to the Beach!

Come learn all about making your own lightweight dehydrated meals and snacks perfect for any summer outing!

Join us for an in-person class taught by UC Master Food Preservers of Sonoma County where the morning will start off with samples of dehydrated snacks, teas and coffee during a short presentation about the science behind dehydration and food safety.
 
Following the presentation, class participants will be able to prepare a dehydrated breakfast and 2 dinner meals to take home with options to customize each based on personal preferences.
 
Not only will you go home with 3 meals ready to take with you on your next outing, but you will go home with a recipe book full of favorite recipes (including recipes for dog treats) from UC Master Food Preservers of Sonoma County!

Please tie back long hair and bring an apron.

Cancellations will only be refunded if 5 days notice is given prior to the event date.
