Youth ages 5-18 years old

What
Join Master Food Preserver volunteers and learn to make your very own jam or jelly to enter in the 2026 El Dorado County Fair--plus take a jar home to enjoy! Choose from apple, grape, peach, or strawberry. You only need to bring your own fruit puree or juice, all other materials and equipment are provided.

El Dorado County Fairgrounds Marshall Building (100 Placerville Drive, Placerville, CA 95667)

When
There are two dates to choose from. Sign-up for a class on Saturday, March 14, 2026 or Saturday, April 18, 2026. Classes are 45-minutes long and limited to 6 participants.

Registration
First come, first serve registration is required as class space is limited! Workshop fee is $5.00 per person, limit one (1) class per child. If all slots are full, and you are still interested, please add your child to the waiting list and we will contact you if a spot opens up.
