To help us answer your question, we encourage you to upload one to three clear, in-focus digital photos related to your inquiry.
Here are some tips:
- To avoid strong shadows, outdoor photos are best taken in the shade, on overcast days, or when the sun is behind a cloud.
- Photo showing the entire plant or plant group and its surroundings, with an overall view of the plant’s problem.
- Photo showing affected branches, preferably one with both healthy and discolored tissue.
- Close-up photo(s) of symptoms, for example centering on one or a few leaves/needles or the place where green tissue meets discolored tissue; or the areas of suspected insect damage (or the insect itself); an area of the trunk, branch, or twig bark you suspect of being abnormal, such as stem lesions, oozing, bumps, insects, white or other color objects.
Upload your photos using the links at the end of this survey.
Thank you for your patience while our team of volunteers researches your question.
