State 4-H VEX IQ Robotics Project 2022-2023

Design, Build, Compete
Apply to join the VEX IQ statewide 4-H robotics project! Teams will receive supplies (VEX IQ competition kit), meet monthly, and prepare for a competition in May 27, 2023 (using the annual VEX competition).
Target Age: Junior and intermediate 4-H members (9 to 13 years old; although fine for older youth, too).
Timeline
- Apply by September 1 - Youth and adult teams apply online (need at least 2 to 3 youth + 1 adult)
- Up to 10 teams awarded VEQ IQ kits in October
- Attend 7, 1 1/2-hour monthly meetings October to April - Join statewide monthly meetings and attend other meetings held locally. Evening dates & times to be determined.
- Showcase at State 4-H Field Day, May 27, 2023 at UC Davis
