2021 - 2022 Committee Sign-up

In order to keep committees to an optimum size, you may be asked to serve on an alternate committee.

  • Expansion and Review Committee
  • Finance Committee
    • Scholarship/Award
    • Financial Oversight - Audits, etc.
  • Policy Committee
  • Incentive and Recognition Committee
    •   All Star Ambassador
    •   Event Comment Review
    •   Emerald Star
    •   Record Book
    •   Scholarship

Council Committee membership is open to Certified 4-H Adult Volunteers and 4-H members 14 - 19 years old by December 31, 2021.

       

In order to keep committees to an optimum size, you may be asked to serve on an alternate committee.

  1. Expansion and Review Committee:  This committee will continue to review club by laws, review club community outreach reports and work on formulating a plan to expand the 4-H program in our communities.  
  2. Finance Committee:  This committee will review club budgets, review fund raising proposals and facilitate the club and county mid-year & year-end audits.  Follow-up with clubs to offer assistance when needed.
  3. Policy Committee:  This committee will work on recording current policies into a manual and be available to write new policy as needed.
  4. Incentive and Recognition Committee:  This committee has 5 sub-committees
  • All Star Ambassador - Participate in interviewing All Star candidates for the next program year.
  • Event Comment Review - Review evaluator comments at Presentation Day.
  • Emerald Star - Review and monitor progress of Emerald Star Projects.
  • Record Book - Plan the record book workshop.  Under direction of the committee chair, answering questions about record books and ORB.  Facilitate county and state record book evaluating & competition.
  • Scholarship - Interview candidates for the Lynne Burns Memorial 4-H Scholarship.  Help to monitor youth and adult camp & conference scholarships and 'pay back' activities.
